A couple of months ago Adalynn spent an evening with Bella and I while Kim and Cameron ran in a race. Bella really enjoyed the one -on- one time she got spend with Addy - kinda like being a big sister. They played together so well and had a grand time sitting in the buggy together while I grocery shopped, they threw a ball around in the yard while it was it was still light out and then got bathed and in their jammies ready for bed.
I just had to share these photos - such sweet moments.
Awanas
Bella and her cousins just started Awanas a month or so ago. For those who are not familiar with Awanas - it stands for: “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" This sentence is based on a verse in the Bible: “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, because he can rightly handle the Word of Truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15). Its new for all of them. Bella and Cameron are in the same class together, Cubbies, and Addy is in the Puggles class. Bella really enjoys it. She has memorized the Cubbie motto: "Jesus loves me" and we are working on the Key Verse, 1 John 4:10, "God...Loved us...and sent his son". Memorization is a bit tricky at this age, but I think she will get the hang of it soon.
I've had some really neat creative opportunities in the last few months that I'd like to share...
KSU Athletics
My athletic poster designs have been printed and distributed all over campus and the surrounding community - I like seeing them on display in various restaurants and small business all over town, it warms my heart to see how people show support and pride for KSU. Bella and I went with some friends to a volleyball game and saw my posters on display along with Scrappy, the owl, and a few cheerleaders present to pose for pictures. I loved how all the kids went crazy over the posters - each wanting a copy. Bella absolutely adores Scrappy, so my spirit poster is her favorite.
KSU's 50th Anniversary Timeline Display
Kennesaw State University kicked off its celebration of it's "50 years of excellence" last week during founder's week and a timeline display that I designed was featured at the First Monday Breakfast for the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.

Year of Ghana Book Design/Commemorative Gift to Ghanaian President
President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency John Dramani Mahama
visited Kennesaw State two weeks ago to mark the culmination of the “Year of
Ghana,” the University’s year long study of the country. I had the opportunity to design a book that was gifted to him by the university to commemorate this special occasion.
