Happy New Year! The last 3 months of last year flew by for our family; it always does! Between my birthday in the beginning of November, Thanksgiving, Holiday preparations and Christmas - its always a full calendar. I finally had an opportunity over the winter break to finally blog some family updates.
Michael Buble
What. a. concert.
My sister, mother and grandmother got once in a lifetime seats to Michael Buble's concert in Atlanta the weekend before my birthday. Of course we got all gussied up for Mr. Buble, enjoyed a relaxing dinner out before the show and then arrived to the venue and took our seats (5th row from the stage!) The entire show was non stop entertainment, including Naturally 7's opening act. I'll always remember this night- spent with my favorite ladies.
Halloween
Bella had another fun Halloween dressing up, this time, as her favorite princess Rapunzel. Together with her cousins, Cameron and Addie, friends Mary, Alex, Cara and Sammy, they enjoyed trick-or-treating in our neighborhood for a crazy amount of candy.Birthday

Turkey Day
We hosted Thanksgiving with my family at our home this year and we had Uncle Alan as a special guest! Louie made an EXCEPTIONALLY delicious turkey and we stuffed ourselves with that and all the fixings. Another family get together, another opportunity to snap photos:
Tiny Dancer
Bella took another set of dance classes the last few months - this time both tap and ballet. She learned so much and loved every minute. Her last class was an observation class for the parents so I was able to see all that she learned and snap a lot of priceless photos.Getting Ready for Christmas
Our annual kick-off to the Christmas season - choosing a live tree - started with a return trip to the Kinsey Family tree farm. A very busy, but fun atmosphere helped us get into the spirit and pick out a beautiful Christmas tree.
Another annual tradition of baking cookies with my siblings took place and Bella eagerly participated - had a great time with her aunt and uncle. We made our traditional chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter blossoms, and sugar cookies. We tried out chocolate dipped shortbread and gingerbread cookies.
Celebrating the Birth of our Lord
Christmas Eve was spent with my family. After a beautiful mass at St. Joseph's we enjoyed our traditional Italian dinner out followed by a visit to Nonnie at her home (she was in a lot of back pain she was not able to come out with us). Before bed, Bella was very excited to put out her carrots, cookies and milk for Santa and his reindeer. This year was the first time seeing Bella so full of the magic of Christmas; she had a much better understanding of what was going on and what the season was all about. I loved every minute.
Christmas morning Bella was up and full of excitement - Santa Claus was very good to her and we enjoyed a quiet morning at home.
The rest of the day was spent with Louie's family - had lots of fun watching the kiddos enjoying their gifts. Our family is so lucky to be able to spend time with one another, I can definitely say we were all filled with the spirit of Jesus Christ, remembering the reason for the season and being thankful he was born on this day to be our savior.
Happy New Year! 2014
We hope everyone had a blessed holiday and a happy new year. We are excited to see what the new year has in store for our family :)
